Photography Competition

Photography competition guidelines:

• The subscription is for free.
• The participants should be EU citizens, and at least 18 years of age.
• The contest will start on 05 July 2010 and will finish on 31 December 2010 at 23:59.
• The Hotelier Association of Sóller (HA of Sóller) can change the period of the contest, depending on the volume of partisipations.
• The changes will be based on the volume of participants in it.
• The winner of the contest gives the HA of Sóller the right to publish his/her name on internet in order to promote the outcome of the contest.
• The personal details of the participants will be treated with maximum confidence and will be saved in the database of the HA of Sóller.

Photo contest rules and conditions:

• To participate in the contest, you should be following visitcoller.com in Facebook (clicking on “I like” button).
• The participants must send their photo, taken in some location or doing some activity in Sóller, Port de Sóller, Biniaraix, Fornalutx o Llucalcari. 
• A maximum of 3 photos per participant are permitted.
• The winning photo will be the one that receives the largest number of votes on the page of visitsoller.com on Facebook. In order to vote, you should click on “I like” under the photo (not under the album, since you will vote fort the whole album).
• The prize for the winner will be a stay in one of the hotels from the HA of Sóller (the winner will choose the hotel). The period of the stay will be 3 days – 2 nights, bed and breakfast. The prize does not include airplane tickets and transfers. The prize is only a stay in the hotel.
• The winner must choose the hotel before 31st of December 2010
• The winner will have to use his/her prize before December 2011.It is mandatory to inform the HA of Sóller for the dates of the stay, at least one month before it takes place.
• The prize is not transferable into others, and it cannot be accumulated to other offers.
• The HA of Sóller reserves the right to disqualify inappropriate photos and/or comments.
• The bases, rules and conditions of the contest are available on www.visitsoller.com.

The photos:

The Photos must be sent at the following e-mail address: concurso@visitsoller.com and the e-mail must content:

• One JPG file with the photo (black and white or in color), with high quality and without many changes through graphic editing programs (example Photoshop).
• Name and family name of the participant
• Title of the photo
• Birth date of the participant
• Address/country
• The participant must be exclusive owner of the photo

In order to participate all the information must be provided.
By sending us the picture, the participant confirms that he/she agrees with the bases and the conditions of the contest.

The photos without people on them can be used by the HA of Sóller to promote the destination; these picture will be the property of the association.

If people appear on the photo, the association can use the picture on Facebook or to promote the destination, but the picture remains participant’s property. When the association uses the photo, the name of the owner will be mentioned.
