The town of Fornalutx is situated in the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana, considered to be one of the most singular villages on Mallorca. Because of its extraordinary beauty and enviable state of conservation, has received different prizes and recognition. The history of Fornalutx starts over 1000 years ago, when it was an Arab property. The population of the area started after the Catalan conquest. Until 1813 it depended on the Parish of Soller and in 1837 it became an independent municipality. The charms of Fornalutx are uncountable. The stone streets and steps of the old centre, carefully adorned with many pots and plants; the ancient stone houses and the doorways wide open; the lush vegetation on the mountain terraces and the orchards where the famous oranges are grown...
Long time ago, this building was the Convent and the school of the village and now has been restored into this small charming hotel. The Petit Hotel offer you accommodation in 8 rooms with en suite bathroom, TV-Sat, stereo system, a safe and own telephone number to make and receive calls directly in the room. Also it counts on Internet connection wifi. The old chapel is now the suite of the hotel with its own terrace and nice views over the mountains and the valley. In the hotel there is a meeting room for small events, reading, dinning room and a big terrace, where in spring and summer is served the breakfast, with beautifull views across the valley of the orange trees to the mountains, where you can enjoy of the bird songs, blue sky.
